How it works

Bring the mess. We’ll find the system inside it.

You do not need a technical specification. You need a process you are tired of doing the current way.

Show me the process.

Bring the spreadsheet, SOP, screenshots, worksheets, PDFs, notes, or whatever currently runs it. Messy is fine.

I map the logic.

We identify inputs, calculations, conditions, exceptions, users, and outputs. This becomes the system blueprint.

I build the first version.

You see a working application early, so feedback is based on something real instead of a giant abstract spec.

We refine it around actual use.

You test. We find what feels awkward. The software becomes simpler because the logic becomes clearer.

Your team gets the tool.

Final application, documentation, and the agreed handoff. Ongoing support can be scoped separately if you want it.

And yes, the spreadsheet can finally retire with dignity.
Delivery model

Client-owned by design.

My preferred setup keeps the project simple: your organization owns its production accounts, infrastructure, business rules, and data. I focus on the software design and build.

You own the rules

Your team validates the formulas, policies, decision criteria, and legal or compliance requirements the app must follow.

You own production

Where practical, production accounts and infrastructure belong to you from day one.

I build the system

I translate the agreed workflow into a usable application, test it against requirements, and document the handoff.

Final contracts, data protection terms, security obligations, and regulatory responsibilities should be reviewed by qualified legal and security professionals for the client’s jurisdiction and use case.
Typical engagement

Three stages.

I prefer fixed-scope project fees over open-ended hourly development whenever the problem can be defined clearly.

Stage 1

Workflow Diagnostic

Map the current process, bottlenecks, business logic, and recommended app concept.

Stage 2

Custom Build

Design, develop, test, refine, and prepare the tool for handoff.

Optional

Systems Care

Defined maintenance and improvement support after launch.

Have something in mind?

If it’s too niche for off-the-shelf software, I’m interested.
